Making /afk make you invincible?

Well tonight I went to the bathroom and I wanted to keep my computer on the server. Before I left I typed /afk but all it does is tell other players that your not playing at the moment. But what I think it should do is make you invincible to taking damage from mobs that appear at night. What do you guys think about it?

I think its smart as long as it only works if your not moving.

Yea because as soon as you move the AFK comes off.

I think this can be used to people's advantage a bit too much...

For example, you're mining or travelling around at night/in the dark. A ton of mobs come at you all of a sudden and you can easily press the chat button then paste /afk to make you invincible until morning or a creeper comes and blows all the other mobs up.

That is kinda true that people would use it the wrong way.

I agree on this. Also, you can /afk then /home or /back pirat

I For 1 Want This To Happen. Like 6 Times I Was Killed By A Creeper When I Had Iron Tools, 20 Torches, Full Stack Of Wood, And Bread And Steak When I Was AFK. And It Was Morning When I Came Back And My Stuff Was Not There. Sad

I like this Idea actually...I haven't used AFK as of yet but I'd like it if I didn't get damaged...I always leave the game and come back when I have to leave haha
