PvP in the Nether?

Just a thought.
Isn't the Nether supposed to be a super hostile area? I feel like it, or at least a part of it, should be PvP.

Lance this could be a bad idea because many players have a ton of lag in the nether (more than other worlds) and it would be unfair to them.

This is a good idea Lance.. But as commaner said the lag/freezes I get are annoying and will get me easily killed :/

We had pvp there before, but then came plopper and killed everyone and wanted their stuff back.

Ah, okay. Thanks guys! And I realize that a lot of people lag in the Nether, but isn't that also why there aren't many people who go there? (I don't actually get lag there...if I do it's not that bad.) damn it, plopper!

I agree with Commander here on the lag getting to everyone. It may be an unfair disadvantage to other players who have - lets just say - crappy computers(no offense). People would fight about it and fighting isn't fun.
