Moderator applications

I wanna go though some things with all of you guys. I don't get why you think some in some ways and I am here to crush the myths about moderator applications and give you some general questions.

First of all. I REALLY don't get why you give each other plus (+1), is that a way to get more forumposts or do you think the more points a moderator app have the bigger the chance is to become one?
Well as I said, I don't get why you do this. Please stop with it, I consider it as spam. If you wanna show your support say something instead.

When you are done with your application, why do you always ask staff if we read them? As you may not know we read everything on the forum including your apps. What you want? Why do you think that you are getting mod just for you make a post about it?

I agree, leaving just a random +1 for no apparent reason doesn't help at all. Instead you should leave an intelligent response about why you believe they should get it. One more thing, the decision is Tonkow's, not anybody else's.

And with the decision being Tonkow's that doesn't mean you go and spam and ask him for MOD or OP or GM.

You sit back you did what you had to do, now Tonkow will do the rest.

My opinion on this is that plus (+1) is a small helper so if a person you don't really like makes a mod application, these +1's can show you how many other people like that person and make you maybe change your mind. We will stop at our command, but I'm just displaying my opinion on these said +1's.

That just makes it a popularity contest, and just because someone gets a ton of +1 doesn't mean they will be mod.
